International Questionnaire

"A lot of us have years behind us spiritual development in one form or another. Some worked with Kundalini, some were on other spiritual paths. We had wonderful, special and sometimes painful experiences on this "journey within." After years of this, a culmination or turning point can take place, as a new focus arises: How do I use all the beauty, insight and light I found to make a difference in the world? What does it mean to function in the world with this developed inner ability and light? This new path has as many challenges as did the path within. What is needed? How have others along the path made this transition? If this resonates for you, we ask you to fill in this questionnaire so we can create a signpost along the way for each other. So share your stories, helpful hints and insights. The results of the questionnaire will be described in a report for other people on their way in life. Transpersonal Support Network

Forming a support group aimed at managing and understanding crisis resulting from the spiritual emergence/emergency process. Weekly/bi-weekly groups will be forming and meeting at Nesting Ground, a transpersonal center located in Burlingame CA. The group will be geared around sharing and integrating the process of awakening as manifested through spontaneous Kundalini awakening, shamanic crisis, NDE's (near death experience), "UFO" experience or other related emerging psychospiritual manifestation in one's life. Will provide support and guidance around the difficulties which may arise related to these phenomena, such as loss of control, fear of insanity, physical discomfort and/or addiction to chemical substances. Understanding and connection with others undergoing similar experiences assists in the process of assimilation and further integration. Facilitation provided by Rebecca Kore, MACP candidate in transpersonal psychology currently working as a recovery counselor. NYC Kundalini Support Group Forming for 2001

NYC therapeutic facilitator whose Kundalini has been open since 1988 is forming a support, informational, process group for all interested parties who are experiencing the highs and lows of Kundalini.
We will meet weekly and work with all the issues that come up around this area including how to stay healthy and grounded, family concerns, how to earn a living while this is going on, alternative therapies that help with major "symptoms", how to work with your own energy, how to connect to your higher self to get the most specific guidance available and anything the group feels is important. Hi. I've been going through and recovering from a horribly heinous Kundalini experience/awakening during the past 7 years. Thankfully the process has been fairly self-healing and steady, albeit excruciatingly slow. The journey has been largely self-directed, too, and I've been relatively alone during it all. At this point things aren't that bad, and I seem to be able to come up for air long enough to see if there's anyone else out there in the San Francisco Bay Area who's gone through (or still going through) a similar kind of Spiritual Emergence. Kundalini Research

I am a clinical psychologist, in practice for 25 years, with traditional training in post-Freudian psychoanalytic psychotherapy and Jungian analysis, as well as less traditional interests, and have had kundalini experience of my own. I am very interested in hearing from both psychotherapists who have worked with clients/patients while their patients were experiencing kundalini activity, AND from anyone who was a patient/client in psychotherapy while experiencing kundalini activity. I have not found anything to read that attempts to integrate these two experiences in the way I am seeking to think about them, so I will appreciate anything you would be willing to share with me and will treat it with absolute confidentiality.
