Shared Transformation
Introduction to Issue 10
You may be curious as to the results of the Jan/Feb Readers Survey. Everyone who responded has experienced Kundalini phenomena. At the time they wrote to us, the length of their processes ranged from 5 months to 30 years. Most indicated that while information and help was not easy to come by, synchronicities and inner guidance brought them what they needed.
Almost all of the respondents have had mystical experiences in the course of their transformation.
Some have encountered every kind of inner and outer world difficulty known to the process, i.e.: strange physical
symptoms, illness, psychic phenomena, emotional turmoil, mental disorientation, relationship problems, powerful
losses or crisis, and radical lifestyle changes. Others have not faced all these challenges, but most checked off
at least six of the nine listed. Not surprisingly, those who had been in the longest processes had experienced
a greater spectrum of changes. Here is what some of you told us in answer to the question, "What are the
greatest difficulties you've faced during your process?":
"Fears -- feeling I was always being punished. I have beautiful visions and they always keep me in balance.
At the time you are scared. Praying was the only answer for me."
*
"Family dysfunction, karmic love relationships, unhealthy food habits. My own resistance to real change. Opening to the healing power of grief."
*
Learning how to deal with the symptoms associated with the transformation."
*
"Much head, neck and shoulder pain. Much difficulty with digestion and elimination."
*
"Constantly given new lessons needed to teach me patience. Am a slow learner in this area. Assimilating recent flow of energy -- very shaky at times."
*
"Spaciness. I feel like my mind is getting weak. It's not a good feeling. It undermines my self- confidence."
*
"Self-trust and self-love become so important. The hardest is the physical symptoms and loneliness."
*
"It became very physical in my body (and still is) and I had no previous knowledge of that happening to people. Lack of support in the sense that there haven't been many people I can talk to about what is happening to me, as many don't know about these things. As I go along I find the greatest support comes from inside me."

Thank you! Your encouragement is a tremendous inspiration to us, and helps us to "hang in" despite personal
and financial obstacles. And thank you also for all of your excellent suggestions. We hope to incorporate as
many as we can into the newsletter.
